Fall 2018 Schedule Preview

Every season, our schedule of weekly classes changes, either a little or a lot. Teachers sometimes need to move on from a class they’ve been teaching, whether it’s for personal reasons or simply that the class hasn’t found a committed audience.

I am happy to say that for fall of 2018, our jam-packed schedule of classes is changing only in that it is growing. Your favorite teachers and classes remain, and you’ll find additional chances to grow your yoga practice, including …

  • New weekly classes:
    • Vinyasa Level 1, Thursdays 5:15-6:15pm with Becky Wontor-Coleman (Reach Yoga studio, beginning 9/13)
    • Gentle Flow, Mondays & Thursdays 11:00am-12:15pm with Judy Roin (at the Takiff Center, beginning 9/17)

Laura Friedman

  • New Yoga for Kids program, Wednesdays 4:00-5:00pm with Nichola Roberts-Jones (at the Winnetka Community House, 9/12 – 10/17)
  • New monthly Restorative Yoga, Sundays 1:00-2:15pm with Laura Friedman (at the Reach Yoga studio, 9/30, 10/28, 11/25, & 12/30)
  • Terrific workshops and special events with some of your favorite teachers, including Cheri Weber, Laura Merlo, Mia Cutler, Colleen Yeloushan, Judy Craven, & Sonya Taylor
  • New foundational yoga courses for those who wish to start or re-start a regular practice. Several programs are targeted to specific audiences, including athletes, parents of young children, and those seeking better daily function. Something for everyone!

Jenny Guzon-Bae

Since everyone’s fall schedule fills up quickly, if any of these interests you, please mark your calendar now, so that you can work other events around your most important self-care commitments.

Also a reminder: We have a few classes that were added during the summer and will remain this fall. We are delighted to have Jenny Guzon-Bae back on the schedule (Fridays 9:30-10:45am), and two weekly chances to practice with Sonya Taylor (Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm, and Thursdays 11:30am-12:30pm).  View current schedule
