Retreat, Rejuvenate, Restore

Looking for a getaway that is salve to body, mind, and spirit? Several Reach Yoga instructors are offering yoga retreats.

For yogis seeking a close-by luxury retreat, join Mia Cutler & Laura Merlo at the fabulous Geneva Grand Resort, October 19-21. Activities will include yoga (of course), meditation, a guided hike, and optional spa treatments. The chosen weekend features the height of the fall colors in Wisconsin. And the weekend is accessible and affordable: one hour from the north shore, and $700 including four yoga offerings, a guided hike, two dinners, two breakfasts, and a s’mores night by the fire.

Mia says, “I’m excited just to get away, teach some yoga (my favorite thing to do) and hang with current students/friends, and the opportunity to make new friends!” For more information or to hold your spot, email Mia ( or Laura (

The following week, October 25-28, Deb Wineman & Zoe Nitsun will escort a lucky group of yogis to Sun Mountain Resort in Colorado (an hour outside of Denver). It’s a beautiful setting for hiking, and the retreat will include various yoga classes suited to all different levels from beginner to more seasoned.

Additionally, participants will enjoy meditation classes and amazing organic farm-to-table cuisine. Mineral soaks and a healing spa round out the program.

Deb says, “When I visited Sun Mountain I knew the setting was perfect for a spiritual and wellness getaway.” A Retreat that’s a Real Treat! Learn more or register here.

For something sooner, shorter, and closer, Pam Gross is offering a mini-retreat at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, on Friday, 9/14, 10:30am – 2:30pm. Reconnect to the earth the way nature intended using natural healing practices to support our wellbeing. Activities to include soulful yoga, nature bathing, earthing, harvesting and cooking with healing herbs. Learn about Pam’s “Four Food Path” while creating and enjoying a healthy lunch from The Bread & Buddha Kitchen.

Pam says, “My mini wellness retreats are designed to help make soulful connections to self, to others and to nature. Unplugging and enjoying the outside is so healing. I tell people to plan to stay late, because no one wants to leave!” Sign up
